Eccleshill Adventure Playground runs bi-monthly play forums to support the play needs of communities. By using information from partners and members of the community, we are able to support and steer how and where play is delivered. Together we can pool resources, minimise duplication and share best practice amongst providers. We can also work together to identify additional and appropriate funding streams. By acting as a conduit from the community to strategic partners we can help inform and help shape play services across the district. To ensure the sustainability of play within the district, we look at ways in which the community can take more ownership and responsibility of how, where and why children play. Our play forums are run under the representation at Young Lives Strategic Board and the districts’ Play Partnership Executive.
As current partners and stakeholders, Eccleshill Adventure Playground are looking for your participation and involvement to meet local needs that have been identified to bring grater improvements to the area. If you work with children and young people, members of the community or just have an interest in play in your area, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
